Compare

Introduction

The Compare module is accessed from the module section or from the Showroom module.

If you cannot access the module directly as shown here, do like this:

  1. Select a situation you want to Compare (You have to be in Showroom) and the Compare button is displayed and located in the lower left corner of your application.
  2. Press the Compare button

The objective with the module is being able to compare two video sequences side by side. In addition to that you can use a:

  1. Video drawing tool
  2. Timing tool
  3. Archive tool
  4. Shadow tool
  5. Plotting tool
  6. Compare Video adjustments buttons

They are all accessible from the Compare display screen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

GENERAL VIDOE COMPARE BUTTONS

 

When you have loaded both windows with video files you use the Compare Video adjustments buttons to synchronize the video fields to set comparable START POINTS.

When you are ready to play both files these are the buttons you use.


PLAY BUTTON

The PLAY button for the Compare video and the Shadow function

 


STOP BUTTON

When the PLAY button is pressed it changes automatically to a STOP button


GOTO STARTPOINT BUTTON

When you want to go back to the START point you set for both videos, use this button


ONE FRAME FORWARD/BACKWARD

Use these buttons to move the video one frame forward or one frame backwards, or similar buttons moving the video one second forward or backward.

 

SHADOW BUTTON

Press this button if you have loaded videos into both windows and you want to play them on top of each other. See the Shadow tool for more information.
